Related to experimental tests: we are currently working with alternative fuels, mainly from pyrolysis of plastic. We have capacity to make basic fuel characterization (calorific value, flash point, distillation curve, water content, ashes, etc. We count with an engine testbed equipped to measure all performance, operational and combustion parameters such as pressure, temperature, emissions, etc., and also in-cylinder pressure. At lab scale, we count with a pyrolytic reactor to carry out research with several type of samples and at different operational conditions. Currently, we are participating in two LIFE projects (LIFE WASTE2BIOFUEL and LIFEB2E4 sustainable WWTP) where we will test in our engine the fuel from gasification of sludge and municipal biowaste
