Representation on WG1, WG2, WG4. Work in the Biotechnology, food industry, pharmaceuticals section includes enzyme technology and its application in the more effective use of renewable natural resources in the production of industrial chemicals and materials. Activities include studies on new thermophilic enzyme systems for biorefineries in order to improve bioethanol production processes based on cellulose hydrolysis.
