Regional Energy Agency - Rousse (REA) is a non-profit organization established in 2007 under the Intelligent Energy Europe project "Creation of local energy agencies in Laohou - Dannenberg (Germany), Ruse (Bulgaria), Las Palmas December Grand Canaria (Spain) and Pernik (Bulgaria)". 

Its main priorities are: 

• Support to municipalities, businesses and NGOs in the development and implementation of projects in the field of energy efficiency (EE) and energy production from renewable energy sources (RES)

• Conducting information campaigns, trainings and seminars in the field of energy efficiency

• Development of strategic documents in the field of energy efficiency

• Development of specific measures to reduce energy consumption in the region

• Cooperation and assistance in the use of energy saving technologies in the transport sector and agriculture in the region

The activities of REA are also associated with the development of strategic documents in the field of efficient use of energy and energy resources, production and use of renewable energy, project development and project ideas for local, national and European programs, organization of seminars, training and information campaigns.
