Works in areas of research, application and promotion activities in the fields of Bioenergy and Biofuels, with a special interest in bioethanol, starting from the actual planting, through the conversion process, to the use of the final product for a sustainable transport. Attention is paid to integrated bionenergy complexes (simultaneous production of biofuels, cogeneration etc. with a full use of all components of the plant and the various conversion processes). ETA Renewable Energies promotes Industrial cooperation and joint ventures for Integrated Bioenergetic projects (bio-refineries) and for the research of financial support through an network of International expertise . ETA is the Italian representative to IEA Bioenergy activities within the work groups Task 39 Liquid Biofuels from Biomass and Task 40 Sustainable Bio-energy Trade: securing supply and demand .
