3rd European Biorefining Training School

image

The European Biorefinery Training school was founded in 2011 by Wageningen University, INRA and the National Technical University of Athens. The training school in 2014 will be organized under the Climate-KIC’s European-wide umbrella. The main aim of the school is to offer an introduction to some of the key subjects and provide insight into many of the diverse issues that surround the bioeconomy transition. Unlike a conference highlighting the latest research results for experts, the school is aimed at a more general audience and will deliver information about the latest technology breakthroughs, understanding of the key environmental and economic issues and expert views on the different biorefinery concepts. The 4-day school will comprise a series of lectures, site visits, in-depth training modules and after-session informal discussions.
