  The 9th Stakeholder Plenary Meeting (SPM) of the European Technology and Innovation Platform Bioenergy will be held from 20-21 November 2019 in Brussels.

In three thematic sessions during the first day, innovations in the fields of renewable fuels and bioenergy, opportunities and challenges with respect to broadening the biomass feedstock base in Europe as well as the future role of ETIP Bioenergy and options how you can get involved in the platform will be discussed with the audience.

The second day takes a bird´s eye view on the contribution of advanced renewable transport fuels to the decarbonisation of transport in 2030 and beyond, technological options, implementation barriers, and financial instruments.

Innovation Fund Workshop
12 September 2019, Brussels

The Innovation Fund Stakeholder Workshop on Renewable Fuels and Bioenergy was collaboratively organised by ETIP Bioenergy, the ART Fuels Forum, ETIP Renewable Heating and Cooling and Bioenergy Europe with the aim to collect project ideas from the renewable fuel/biofuel and bioenergy sectors and to discuss key sector-specific issues with regard to the selection and management of projects.

Workshop at the Advanced Biofuels Conference 2019
19 September 2019, Stockholm

In the framework of the Advanced Biofuels Conference organized by Svebio in Stockholm (SE), ETIP Bioenergy planned a workshop focused on the viable financial tools which can accelerate the commercialization of biorefineries for large-scale biofuel production. Relevant examples from industrial players at European level were showcased as well, with the goal of reaching out the audience and giving some hand-on information for future projects to come.

Paving the way towards clean energy and fuel In Europe- Executive Summary by the European Commission
29 May 2019, EUBCE 2019, Lisbon

The European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation has recently released its Executive Summary of the research policy workshop “Paving the way towards clean energy and fuels in Europe”, organised in collaboration with the SET Plan – Priority Action 8 –EU Member States, the European Technology and Innovation Platform Bioenergy, the Renewable Heating and Cooling Platform and the European Energy Research Alliance Bioenergy.
