Producer of paper pulp, construction timber, wood products and bioenergy using spruce and pine from their own forests. Operates the world’s first fossil-fuel-free pulp mill. It has been involved in the area of energy production for many years - using bioenergy to create electricity to power its own mill operations, and to help power homes and other buildings around Sweden. All by-products of its forest activities can be used to create power, and are either used internally or sold. These include residues from forest fellings, thinnings, etc; woodchips, bark and fuelwood; processed fuel, in the form of pellets and briquettes and peat.
